About me

My consultancy and coaching practice was established in 2006. For ten years, I shared my expertise with charities to improve campaigning effectiveness.

I undertook training as a coach in 2015/16 to acquire the Institute for Leadership and Management Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring.

My interests are campaigning effectiveness, leadership and introversion, and the interplay between them:

  • Developing leadership in social change campaigns, embedding campaigning culture in organisations
  • Helping introverts thrive in the workplace – developing quiet leadership, enabling introverts to flourish in extroverted environments

Prior to establishing my consultancy, I spent a decade working in social and political campaigning and communications roles – as Director of Policy and Campaigns at Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Chief of Staff to Rt Hon David Lammy MP and in roles at Asthma UK, the UK Parliament, The Prince’s Trust and the Labour Party.

My approach to work (and life in general) is thoughtful and practical. People who work with me find I quickly understand their needs and can provide structure and focus to make sense of the situation and reach a solution tailored to their circumstances.

In my spare time I practise photography, go for long walks and read contemporary fiction. I live with my partner in Tottenham, north east London.
